DVD disc not recognised

I have just bought a Bush DVHRS02 vhs to disc recorder so I can copy my family videos onto disc. It works like a dream, no complicated setup or anything. The results are pretty good too...until I try and play them in my DVD player downstairs or my PC. In my main player it shows as a 'Bad Disc', in my PC it shows as a CD with 0 space used and 0 space left, and won't play.

Other DVDs play on my pc, just the ones I have recorded myself that don't. I want to send copies of these discs to my family, so I need to sort it out.

You need to make sure the machine tou want to play it on will support the recorded format.

The manual should tell you.

Also when you have finished recording make sure the disc is 'finalised'.

Are the Discs you are using DVD+R or DVD+RW.

ened, thanks for that. Problem sorted now, or it will be once I figure out how to do it. The instructions don't seem to work as they should, but I'll crack it.
