Before I ask the question, I know you will all say it's illegal !. I have some dvd's bought on various holidays showing the places we have visited, I would hate to damage them so I thought I may be able to back them up. Is there a free download to be had ?. I have no intention of copying films etc, being a silver surfer I am happy with my memeories.
Cheers all

I use DVD Shrink now and then. If you have any problems with it, let me know.

ArrGee, I have downloaded it, I went back to find the download button. After it had gone through the "shrinking" ? of the disk, it said I now have to burn with Nero, which I haven't got.
Any help would be happily received.
Thanks

You can buy Nero from:

Make sure you get Suite 3 (not Suite 1) cost is £5.49 plus postage.

You can then update it to a later version for free from:

You will need to download Package 1 and Package 2 at least. NOTE: Make sure you take the tick out of Yahoo Toolbar before downloading.

Using Nero and the DL updates, will Nero provide editting of the video, menu and button creation similar to say something like Pinnacle Studio.
Thanks David

mahalo, you don't have to use Nero, any DVD burning software should be able to burn the files to a blank DVD.

Just select DVD Movie type disk to burn, then point it where you put the files from DVD Shrink.
