DVD Burning Problem

I use Roxio Creator for copying CDs and have never had a problem. However, copying DVDs is another matter. They usually jump,or are pixillated. I copied one last night and this time it plays perfectly on my DVD player, but skips and jumps when I attempt to play it back on my computer. Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

Try slowing down the burn speed.

Not sure if this will help much as ive never tried it

Though you should consider the dvd laser maybe faulty also.
Have you tried different media, your pc may not like your current dvd media.

Thanks again pal. Yep,other DVDs play perfectly,so I've pretty much ruled out my machine. I'll give it a whiz. Notice it says only DATA DVDs. Would you know if that rules out films and music?

Exactly what i thought also,i would be wrong to say anymore as ive not used this software.

What are you using to playback the films ?

Try playing in this click here it plays almost anything,so if it plays ok in this...its Roxio at fault and possibly a setting.

Thanks so much amigo...I'll repost when I've done it all.Ps playing back in Windows Media Player and Real Player

  skidzy 20:39 30 Apr 07

Well Real Player i would forget about personally.

Maybe WMP has a codec issue,it is possible you have missing or damaged codecs click here to repair or replace the damaged or missing codecs.
