DVD Burning Problem

I've just installed a Lite-On 1653S DVDRW along with Nero Smart Start.
I'm trying to burn a movie from my hard drive onto disc (DVD-R). When I press the burn button I get an error message saying that I haven't enough space in my Temp Folder, even though I've deleted its contents.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you need at least 4.7GB left on your HDD cos the DVD program will do a temp copy before it burns it onto DVD...what type of movie file are converting to DVD? Is it avi, mpeg or anything like that? if so...dont use Nero, go to click here

You could try not copying to the hard drive first
and put it straight on disc, depends what software you use with mine i can untick this option so it goes straight to disk you should also be able to change the temp folder for another folder.

Thanks for the help. Job done.
How daft do I feel, I didn't think of HDD space. I uninstalled and deleted a load of stuff, done the trick, burnt the movie. It was an .avi file.
Transcoding takes a while doesn't it.
Thanks again.
