hello. i need to get some footage onto a dvd, but i dont want a menu. ultimately i would like to have a black screen with no buttons, and the ability to just press play. i have tried using premiere and nero to just burn dvd-rom onto a dvd but my dvd player won't recognise the disk. it is a dv avi. i can't create dvd video cause nero is asking for ts files and so on. i have 15 copise to do by tommorow for a media company, promo stuff. any advice please.

Have you tried dvd shrink from click here try the reauthoring option.

you need an encorder program to convert avi to MPEG first. Any video editng program will do it.
