DVD Audio problem

  belmore1 19:01 20 Apr 06

I have DVD-ROM and DVD Writer drives (I recently replaced a CD-RW with the Writer). I can listen to a CD in either drives, but when playing a DVD film I can view but the sound has disappeared.

Can anyone give a clue as to why this weird situation.

What was the problem and how did you solve it? It might prove useful for others that experience the same problem and then look through the old threads for a solution.
