duplicate photographs

In this age of the digital camera, high capacity storage cards and numerous backup methods. I tend to backup occasionally and on a random media. So when I either reinstal an operating system or transfer documents onto a new system. I usually put all the disks onto the machine and get multiple duplicates. We are talking about 10's of thousands of pictures.

Is there an easy way to scan the computer and pick up the duplicates?

Thanks for reading.

Not much success, so I did a search through the PCA forums and came up with Dupelocater
