Dual O/S problem

I recently loaded another copy of XP on a seperate partition using partition magic 8. On boot up I am offered the choice of two O/S to boot to. I decided to revert back to one O/S after I solved my original issue. Q is - How do I now remove the second O/S and how do I get the prompt giving me the option to boot from another O/S out of my system boot so that I boot directly to first O/S.

Boot into your original system. Edit the dual boot reference out of boot.ini Once you have done that merely delete the Windows directory from the second partition. Reboot and you should be taken direct into the original.
