I have an old Dual ERA 2000 Laptop which runs Windows 98 reasonably well. However when install XP Home, it refuses to read the USB port. In Device manager it tells me "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (Code 12))It uses the same IRQ as the Multimedia Controller. But disabling or uninstalling this does not improve matters.
Any suggestions.
I use the USB port for ADSL modem and also external hard drive.
Any suggestions
