Dual Boot Problems

Hi all. I have got a SATA drive with winXP on it, and another IDE drive with 98 on it. However, I need to boot the IDE disk. But when the PC fires up it won't have any of it. I am using an Abit NF7-S Rev2.0. Any ideas how I make the IDE disk boot, rather than the SATA drive?

have you set the first boot device as the ide drive in the bios?

When you set up the dual boot did you set XP drive to go first?

You can set Win98 as the boot up if you go into Control panel, System, Advanced tab, Start up and Recovery, Settings and then under default operating system set it for win 98.
