how can we restore the default?

denis93c, we need more information before we can make any meaningful suggestions.

Is your sisters D: drive a physical drive or a partition of the primary drive? If it is a separate drive, is it recognised in BIOS. If it is only Windows that is not recognising it, then what version of Windows does your sister have?

Hi Denis. It is better to post your reply via the "Add a new response" box at the bottom of the page. This keeps your thread active and hopefully will attract the attention of someone who recognises the problem.

Does your sisters computer recognise the drive in BIOS? If it doesn't, check that the drive is set to AUTO in BIOS. If it is, but isn't recognised, check that the IDE and power cables haven't come loose.
