A quick question, please.

When I buy a USB 2 card for my desktop computer (XP SP3), will I need to ensure that it comes with driver software, or does Windows XP carry generic drivers?

Many thanks.

It should not need them for XP. But if Dual booted Like I do with 98se then it would need them loading on 98se

No - just a single XP OS.

Thanks very much, woodchip.

Amaz*n are currently offering a USB PCI card for 1 penny! But I think I'll spend about 800 times more, and get one with a reliable brand name!
