After installing a 3com wireless network card, the system becomes unstable and I get "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT LESS_OR_EQUAL" blue screen of death!. Now when I remove the wireless card and use the internal network card on the laptop the system is stable and does not crash. I think it may be due to the card sharing its IRQ with another component. Is this right? and if so how can I configure manually the IRQ for the network card,as the option is blanked out at present.

Sony Laptop running Windows XP Home
3com PCMCIA card wit hthe latest drivers downloaded.
