Driver update program

  FatboySlim71 10:13 24 Nov 06

Ive heard that there is programs around that will scan the hardware on my PC and inform me if the drivers are out of date and if this is the case will allow me to update them to the latest version. I was wondering if someone can suggest a good program that will scan my PC and tell me if the drivers I have are out of date. I have Windows XP Pro.

There are such facilities but most seem to be American based and, in the States, you often have to pay for something that we download for free from the manufacturers' websites...:-)

You will be hard pressed to find a free program that does what you want i know iv tryed,

My advice is to find out all your hardware and then go to the manufacteres website and download it like that.

To find out what hardware you have download this.

Thanks wolfie3000, I will try what you suggested, I think your right, it will be the only way I will be able to do what I have mentioned.
