Driver query...

WinXP Home.

As part of an ongoing situation where I am unable to get my Router/Modem [supplied by my ISP] to communicate with my PC in WiFi mode, I have been invited to download and install the latest driver for the PCMCIA card. This I have done and it's on my desktop as a .rar file [inside it's unintelligible].

My question is: how do I get this into my PC where it belongs ?

First i think you need to open the file with winrar then save it,probably it will make a folder and save to the desktop there should then be a setup option for the driver inside the folder.

PS: There is folder named Drivers in Program Files which contains sub-folders, but none of the sub-folders contain any .rar files nor is there anything named remotely like my modem/router.
