My iiyama monitor doesn't have or require a driver - all that is installed is Microsoft 5.1.2001.0 for my XP Pro system.

Might be worth trying the Update Driver tab for your monitor in Device Manager - XP will do what is required automatically.

The drivers on the LG website clearly state they are for ALL the windows versions,Windows 2000
Windows NT
Windows 98
Windows 95
Windows XP
Windows ME .
I presume when you open the program it detects which windows you have and either automatically picks the monitor number or gives you the option.

There's a wide choice too on the links I provided.......

In actual fact your monitor should work under XP without any problems.
