Drivers for CD and DVD units should be inherent within the BIOS. Are you sure it is a driver you need? What is the bit that doesn't work?

As stated all Windows operating systems have builty-in drivers for CD/DVD-ROM and rewriter drives.

You may be confusing drivers with firmware.

If you go to System Information via Programs, you will be able to display your CD/DVD-ROM drive information and see the driver that is installed. Will be on the lines of CDROM-0000 to, say, CDROM0003.
