hi everyone,

i live in a shared student household, with access to one shared computer. however, on this
particular pc it remembers everything you look at i.e. if in google and you type the letter b or s a list is 'dragged' down showing all that has been looked at. the same happens when in search- files and folders.
is there anyway that this can be 'turned off'?

many thanks

In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Oprion, Content tab, Autocomplete button.

Clear Forms button to clear entries already made, then tick or untick the boxes for what you want it to remember in future.
