Downloads are so slow?

Hi! I,m having trouble getting my download speeds up. At best my download rates are rollercoasting between 0 - 50kB/s which is just so frustrating. I have a 10Mbit download connection so I know something must be wrong! I would be very grateful for any tips and tricks on how I can get the speeds up.

Hi, are you on dial-up or broadband. BB is obviously faster. Also if you use Download Accelerator Plus this will speed-up your downloads.

Cheers.

OK - don't know free download manager, but DAP is also free. You might also speed things up by doing a little bit of maintenance, ie disk cleanup, empty Internet Temp files and Cookies. Then do a defrag.

Cheers.

Sorry about double-posting - this site seems to have a mind of it's own today.

Cheers
