I use the free version of AVG whicjh is up to date as at this morning. However over the past week I have received a message from AVG that the above trojan has been detected and that I should run AVG for windpws to get rid of it. I have run AVG at least 6 times since this started happening and it doesnt pick up this trojan, infact it shows my system as clear.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this trojan?

if you are running ME or XP it may well be in one of your restore folders, turn off your system restore and reboot this will remove your restore points and the virus along with it when you reboot scan again ,if all is well, re-enable your system restore.

I am running xp home and the trojan was found in a restore folder so I turned resore off, restarted my machine and turned restore back up.
