I have found today that I have a program on my desktop which automatically downloaded itself. It is for a casino and opens internet explorer windows. Can anyone advise of a fix, software to clear the program?

If you download & install click here it should sort it out. It is Freeware.

Try Control Panel/Add&Remove programs and see if it is listed there.

Similar problem to Wicker10. Very desperate. Had PC 10 wks and already son has downloaded inappropriate program which prevents me from deleting from my Windows or thru Control panel. Younger children in house and very annoying when I log on. Please help. The Spires, What do you mean by 'Freeware'

freeware means the program is free to use

Thank you Terrahawk. I'll look now. I've been trying to delete for hours and I've got work in the morning!

I've now installed the Freeware file, and the program is now performing system scan, but how will this assist in deleting the downloaded file I dont want?

I used the freeware Software linked above and found you have to identify the file yourself, trial and error but it never took too long. I also found a good program that finds spyware on your computer, I.E. files that monitor what you surf and send this info out to companies..try seaching "spybot" on google and download the free version. This does take some time to understand but is well worth it. Cheers..
