download window problems

in internet explorer 6 on win xp, there is a dialogue box that appears when saving files. i accidentaly clicked the check box off saying always ask before opening these types of files, now when i try to download these files it opens them rather than saving them which i want to do

can you help?

1. Double-click My Computer.

2. On the View menu, click Folder Options.

3. On the File Types tab, click the appropriate file type in the Registered File Types box.

4. Click Edit.

5. Click to select the Confirm Open After Download check box.

6. Click OK, and then click OK.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools; Internet Options; Security; Internet; Custom Level; and make sure under "Downloads", the "File Download - Enable" radio button is selected. If not, select it and click OK.
