Kind regards

" the download security history"
I'm not sure what you mean, where is it?

Sorry each time Microsoft downloads updates the result is added to an History List. It is this I am attempting to reduce in size.

Thank you

Kind regards

Not sure what you mean.If you remove Microsoft updates your computer might not work properly and be liable to infections.I was always told that you had to keep all Updates. All updates are usually in Add Remove but you have to tick the little square at the top.Show Updates. This is how it works on XP not sure about Vista.

In Xp you can run Microsoft update manually.Once you have run it on the left hand side you should see, Review your update History.Just click on that and it will show you all of your updates.Like I said not sure if it is the same in Vista.
