Download clutter

  novis 14:13 16 May 09

My Download folders have become a collection of the install folders from which I have installed programmes.

Is there any value in saving them - or should I delete them when I have installed the programme?

What should I be keeping / using my Download folders for?

Unless you have an image backup of your system then you will need to keep the install folders if you have a system crash and need to reinstall windows and your programs.

To save hard drive space why not burn the install folders and relevant serial numbers for your prgrams to a CD or DVD.
