downgrade from windows 7 to windows xp

Hi i have brought new toshiba laptops with windows 7 but will not work with free to teach system so trying to downgrade to windows xp.

loading windows xp disk but keeps coming up with blue screen.

Tried to update bios and chipset but not sure if doing correctly. Any ideas??

have you tried running it in compatibility mode? Right Click the Program then choose XP in the above

you cannot downgrade the way you are doing it. you would need to clear the hard drive then start from scratch you would also need xp drivers for the pc hardware

How do i find out what drivers i would need?

You need to check there are XP drivers for everything before you delete W7

I have now downgarded to xp. i change the sata setting in the bios to compatiability mode and it would then load xp cd.

I now have 3 items without drivers i have the toshiba page for the model, satellite pro, c660 but have loaded all drivers and these keep appearing vga controller, pci data aquisition and signal processor, pci simple communications controller

i have run siw i can email to anyone if required
