Double Processor?

Just browsing my 'Device Manager' tonight ( as you do), and I find that on clicking the 'Processors' button, TWO are listed.
I cannot understand why TWO should be listed.
It shows:
INTEL PENTIUM 4 CPU 3.00GHz, then the same again underneath.
Is there a simple explanation to this, or should I delete one?
It IS an Intel Pentium 4 3GHz with Hyper-Threading computer.

I guess you are running a dual processor - therefore it's correct that two are listed.

It could be you have a dual core CPU. I have 4 listed as mine is a quad core. If you want find out what is on your computer you could download SIW from click here
