Hi, I am running a MORSE CODE program and I am unable to increase the sound, the sounds are generated in the computer not via the sound card to the speakers. Can the small crystal noise source be increased, this is a dos program
any idea

It depends to a large extent on how the program generates the noise. Many DOS programs directly 'talk' to the sound card - XP does not allow this, for stability and security reasons.

You could try a Windows-based program, which will use a different method to generate tye tones - click here for just one list, or type 'morse code xp' into Google for many, many more.
