Dont know what to do with cab files

hi,
i own a copy of microsoft office 2003 professional, now due to bad luck of moving house i have lost the disk. So i have the serial number with no cd to install the office software. so because i needed the software i talked to my mate who also owned a copy and had the disk. So installed no problem, but i want it on disk so i can install it when i need to. so i told my mate and he sent me all of the cab files/folders etc and a file called setup.exe that brought up the install interface, i only have a cd rw so i cant download the 1.03 gb file to disk, so as i only wanted two products i went to the option of create standalone iso's but this does not work. Instead i get the message
error executing file c:/ data............... and so on so what can i do.

Can someone please tell me how i can get the individual products onto the disks.
