Domain Registration and Email Hosting

I need to register a couple of domains for a new business. I also need email to be hosted (web mail) for those domains, but then within a period would want to change to a corporate email system.

Any recommendations for:

i) Email hosting companies (1&1 ?)
ii) Domain registration companies (better to keep separate from (i)) ?

Presumably when we get say an Exchange server we just change the MX records (which I presume will be managed by the registration company) to point to our own servers rather than the email hosting company's ?!

I have used them for many years with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Very prompt when reminding me to renew.

thanks, I heard them recommended elsewhere also so will give them a shot.

Just one slight issue with 123-reg...if you look at their email help (having purchased 6 addresses) it tells you that their webmail does not support attachments!

What kind of a webmail service is that. It also doesn't let me login to webmail even though i've followed their instructions. I need to find a way to undo the pop3's I've purchased with them and get them sorted elsewhere with webmail....

Very happy with the domain registration part.
