Domain name emails

I use Outlook Express.
The email name given to me by my ISP is “[email protected]
I have purchased a Domain Name “smith.net”
My name is “fred”
If I send an email to myself at [email protected] I receive it and the details at the top of the email show sender as [email protected]. Just as I want to happen.
If I send an email to another person the sender is shown as “[email protected]
One reason I have the Domain name is to make my email address easy for other to remember.
How do I achieve that please.

One reason I have the Domain name is to make my email address easy for other to remember.

Including half the spammers in the world now.

Not a great idea to post your details as such...

Oh come on.
Do you really think they are my real details?

I'm not fik!

You may need to register your domain name with your isp as many will not allow unknown domain names to use their mail servers. Check your isps web page. You will then have to set you email programme to use you new email address as default

grey george,

Thanks, I will investigate that.
