I have justupgraded to XP Home edition from ME

I had Norton Internet Security installed this included Norton Anti Virus.

Once the upgrade took place neither worked.

I unistalled Internet Security through add and remove,

When I tried to reload it it said thatthere was still a copy of AV on the system. I had removed thia maually and cannot find any trace through search.

Now when I load IS it does not function correctly and I have no AV.

Any ideas

What's Dogpawz? Is that the problem?

XP has proved not to be backward compatible with quite a lot of software. NAV, I am almost certain, is one of them.

Go to symantec.com and search for 'remove' - comprehensive instructions there.

Check that the version if NIS thatyou are trying to load is compatible with XP

I think that they are ignoring you.

:-D Bit too subtle for them, I'm glad you got it though.

Well done

Paul.
