Does two hard drives = two copies of somethings?

As I only had a 6G hard drive I put another one in (6G) and put my games on my 'D' drive to give me more room on the 'C' drive. But when I download drivers etc. they automaticaly go on 'C' drive, does this matter or do I have to copy things over to the drive that the game is on, i.e. 'D'

What to you mean when you say that you put the games on D. Did you uninstall them and then reinstall on D or just copy the existing files over ?
