How do you connect to the Internet ?

who is your ISP ?

Which IE are you using ?

  AndySD 20:37 12 Jan 03

Try Downloading and running AdAware click here

2 isp's are tiscali and tesco and the fault is on both isp's....fault on ie 5-5.5 and now ie 6

  paz57 22:21 12 Jan 03

downloaded adaware and deleted 9 suspicious files but still same fault...

  paz57 22:22 12 Jan 03

oh i use a modem to dial up..

  jazzypop 22:24 12 Jan 03

With the same falt on 2 different ISPs, I would suspect a line fault. First, try swapping your modem cable, and if possible running from a different phone socket.

Meanwhile, get BT to do a line check.

Falt = fault :)

BTW, you are sure you have the most up-to-date modem drivers?

  AndySD 22:27 12 Jan 03

click here the first thing to try is go Start/All Programs/Accessories and choose Command prompt .. type in

ipconfig /flushdns

and hit Enter.

yes drivers ok, just done the command and it said dns cache cleared...so i'll try again
