Dll warnings from Winaso

Hi.I have been getting a few pop-up boxes from Winaso lately to allow or deny dll updates from Microsoft.
The one I have at the moment is for C:\Windows\System32\msxml3.dll[MSXML 3.0 SP11.
The one I had yesterday was for msxml3.dll SP3.

Now what makes me a bit suspicious is the SP3 I don't think there is a SP3 for windows7.
Am I just being paranoid and should I allow them or refuse them.

I do not have any of their office programs downloaded so it cannot be for that.
It does say from Microsoft corporation.
Anyone any ideas.

Open your 'Help & Support Centre' and run a 'Windows Update' system check to see if there are any updates pending that correspond to those you're being hassled about.

PS You'll like this, my spellchecker wanted to change your name to Batman!

Hi buteman, are you sure you mean WinASo? as far as I know it doesn't warn of anything via pop up boxes or ask if you wish to allow or deny anything.

Win Patrol perhaps ?

I did a search in Winpatrol Plus with no results

I just did a search and from what I've seen, as you so rightly assume 'WIN 7 SP3' don't seem to go together. However I have a thought, what is you (anyone) upgraded 'WINXP SP3 to WIN 7' would that not still contain SP3?.

No further updates.but did notice that they have ran a Windows defender Update.I do not have W/defender downloaded so i see no reason for the update. And i cannot find it to remove it.
Any way of removing W/defender from Windows7.

Sorry for the delay .I had to take the other half to the docs.
And of course it is Winpatrol and not Winaso.
Getting worse as the years go by.

Hi rawprawn thanks for the click here.
Looks like the best thing to do is refuse it.
looks like it is an Active X control?
Bye the way I don't know if you use WOT or not.
But all of the adds from Google had red warning circles beside them.
So i am not sure if it is the WOT that I use or the WOT that you use? that is making them appear.
No problem with your Click here from Winpatrol just the adverts.
