.dll for outlook and outlook express

I had to repair/reinstall XP pro coz my pc kept crashing. To cut a long story short I can't seem to use either Outlook Express or Outlook (office pro2002)to send/receive. I get a message that tells me that the MSOE.dll is not loading. I downloaded one and it said that the file was threatening the system's integrity and to reload the one from my XPpro CD, but it's still not working. I also get a popup telling me that an entry point can not be created. I obviously got all the updates for both XP and Office which is when the trouble started. Any one got a clue? Ta

Try this :

Locate the file MSOE.dll in the Outlook Express folder on your hard drive and rename it to say MSOE.xyz

Now search for the file MSOE.dll on your XP installation disk and place a copy in the same Outlook Express folder.

Reboot and try your email.

If this works then delete the renamed file.
