when logging onto a user account in windows xp home edition the following message appears;

dll error - windows/system32/msiefr40 failed to load - access denied.

Then when trying to access web pages through aol the message "action cancelled" always appears.

None of this happens when logging onto xp as administrator.

I am running windows xp home edition, ms internet explorer 6.0 (both pre-installed on computer) and aol 8.0

Any ideas/solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated

thanks Mick Wilding

There are some references on Google to this being a spyware issue.

I suggest you download and run Spybot and/or Adaware.

Cheers Bremner - downloaded adaware 6 and run it then quarantined all references to commonname and it did the trick.

Thanks again
