DLL Error Messages

I'm getting two RUNDLL error messages when my Windows XP Home welcome screen comes up

Error loading stlb2.dll the specified module could not be found
Error loading E6F1873B.DLL the specified module could not be found

This happens when mine, the wife's or the kids' welcome screens come up. It's often followed by an 'internet explorer has a problem and has to close...' message. If I okay the boxes the PC still seems to work fine but it's a bit worrying.

This ring any bells with anyone? Cheers.

The dlls are related to spyware- you seem to have deleted the files, but the registry entries still exist.

I suggest you click here and download HijackThis.

Then click here and see the post by Micah 6:8 for instructions on how to run HijackThis.

Post the log file here and hopefully someone will be able to advise you further.
