DLL error

Help Please. I am trying to load a game on my sons computer. But keep getting the following 2 errors :

1/ The CM4.exe file is linked to missing export USER32.dll: Track mouse event.
2/ A device attached to system is not functioning.

I have checked that everything is working ok and can't find anything.
The OS is Win 95.
Any help greatly welcome. Thanks.

Have you checked the specification of the game? Minimum Requirements?

Windows 95, is now considered very old for gaming and not supported at all on many modern games.

says minimum 98, but says will work with 95 if got 64mb free space

See if you have more than one copy of this DLL;

If you have, check the dates via Properties and rename .OLD all except the latest version.

See if that helps.

Hi Lastchip. Only found 1 copy of that file. Am wondering whether better to upgrade comp to 98 version. Thanks anyway.
