i have diskeeper 2007 running in the background on my pc.
sometimes i get zone alarm telling me that "DKSERVICE>EXE" wants to act as a server. can someone tell me why it needs to act as a server, so i can allow or deny, permanently, with confidence.

Probably looking for updates,i would deny this.
You can always update this later.

Though if you trust Diskeeper,i guess you could allow it.

Never used Diskeeper myself.

I have Diskeeper Pro 2007 and I belive that you will find that DKservice.exe is working in the background defragging the drives.
