I have installed 2 Dorling Kindersley CD's for grandkids on to XP using compatablity utility but when run error message saying "sound decompression software has not been installed. Run setup again"

This does not make any diference, worked ok on 98.
Any ideas

I had this problem when upgrading from 95 to XP for various DK CD-ROMs. Visit the DK site and they have a downloadable fix/file called DK SP1fix.

Do you have XP with SP1??

Try it.

If you can't track it down at their site, e-mail me and I'll send it back to you.
