Divert phone line to mobile

  Pamy 18:56 06 Mar 04

Gandalf suggested that I could divert my phone line to my mobile when on the internet in order not to miss any phone calls. I asked how to do this from him but have not had an answer yet , so can anyone else tell me what I have to do?

Don't know, but would suggest that you can ask your telephone line provider about it.

Have you got call divert enabled? If not, you will have to get on to your phone company to have it put on.

click here for the BT link (if it works for you and you are with BT).

If the link doesn't work, go to bt.com and look for home services.

thanks for help will check it out.
Ps. thanks to you all

Be aware when call divert is in operation, the dial tone will change to interrupted dial tone. If this affects the modem, either log on first or uncheck 'wait for dial tone'.

You will be charged for a call to a mobile on your BT bill, so don't stay on too long!
