Displaying images in aol

Apologies to those who dislike AOL
I cannot display some images in AOL due to the unusual way they handle images (cooper something or other compression)
I know there is a tick I have to put somewhere in order to show the images but am at my wits end trying to find it
____Not that I have many wits_____

I thank in advance anyone who can help me

There's a bewildering number of ways to setup e-mail and automatic email, see to these first......... but for a start when you open mail, does it appear in a side window? If it does, you know you can click for the full version in the centre?

If you are with me so far, there's a tiny triangle at the top centre of either window which toggles on/off any graphic details and inset pictures

This is an entirely aol problem because they use .art extensions to files
For AOL users here is the answer.
Go to SETTINGS on aol toolbar and Click
Choose internet options
Then put a bullet point against "never compress images"
And BINGO its done
Many happy viewings of pictures
