I reformatted my hard drive last night due to numberous problems with it. However, this morning my only problem is with the monitor - the computer will only show the screen at max. resolution and 16 colours. I've tried installing the drivers from the CD for the monitor that came with the computer with no luck, any suggestions as to how to fix the problem?

Cheers :)

as deadneat says, some more info would be good.

sounds like graphics card drivers need to be installed.check control panel/syatem/hardware/device manager for any yellow exclamation marks beside the adapter.

get the latest drivers from click here or click here for ati and nvidia cards.
