disk map missing in scandisk

  velodrome 01:40 05 Jun 03

can anyone tell me please how to enable the disk map (gives details of usage and bad blocks) when running thorough surface test in scandisk.
I had it recently but now it's disappeared.
thanks in advance

I can't remember the terminology, but think it is something like "show legend" or "detals" or the likes - have a click on a few of the options and it should come up for you.

Thanks Lu-tze

No options to show disk map - it comes up automatically in defrag - but does not seem to be there in scandisk.
due to errors at start up, scandisk automatically started, and the disk map was there.
running scandisk again I can't find the "disk map"
and can't see where the bad sectors are.

I think the legend is there only when scandisc runs in dos or win-dos.

Thanks for your help but this is part of a bigger query. I was hoping to see the scandisk disk map again before i posted it.
will start a new thread.

velodrome - my apologies; I confused the two programs (and was unable to find scan disk in XP).
