Discovering hardware

  _clive_ 12:07 22 Mar 08

I have an inherited old laptop which i have given to my young son. It is a Toshiba Satellite S3000 X11.

I did a complete re-install of XP to start him off, but the graphic card does not have its driver installed. How do I find out which card has been fitted (or onboard?) so i can get a driver for it?

I've tried device manager and dxdiag but of course they just report 'unknown manufacturer'

See if it's listed (click here) - you may need to choose `Archived Files`

Thanks was indeed listed in the archive section.
Successfully downloaded and installed now so no.1 son is happy that his game runs :)
Thanks again.
