Disabling non-Epson cart error messages on CX6400

I have an Epson CX6400 multifunction printer and use generic disposables from Choice Stationery. The printer obviously recognises that these are not genuine Epson parts. Every time I print, a pop-up screen appears reminding me I am not using Epson cartridges and asks me to confirm I want to proceed. A bit of a nuisance really but is there any way to disable this screen or is this simply another way for manufacturers to annoy (punish?) us for not using their own overpriced cartridges.

i only get this message when i change the cart not when printing.

you could disable the status monitor maybe.start/all programs/epson/monitored printers and untick the "monitor local printers box" maybe.

then try click here
