DirectX Input Devices

Win 98 SE, with DirectX 8. Run DXDIAG.exe and get the diagnostic screen with tabs along the top. When I click on the INPUT tab, the only device listed is my Joystick. The keyboard and mouse are not on the list, as on other PCs. Mouse is on Com1: and keyboard is normal PS/2 connection. Has anyone seen this and is there a solution. The problem caused is the screen pointer cannot be moved with the mouse or joystick on games such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire etc...

Maybe it's not compatible with your graphics card. It may be worth trying to reinstall it though.
