Direct X Download

I have 2 questions.
1. If your graphics card doesn't say it supports direct x 9 will it work with it. i have a geforce 4 ti4200.
2. is there a way to download direct x without that stupid program? E.g. be able to put it in a download manager?

yes it will work with direct x 9 as its backwards compatable.make sure you create a restore point first though just incase you have any problems.its a good idea to update to the latest graphics card drivers also as they will support it.

just download the redist version at the very bottom of this page and install it click here get the latest drivers from click here

Is there just an english version, as 32mb will take ages?

Do all comp mags now include it? As it may be easier to buy one.

Maybe, read what the disc includes in the mag, normally a few pages in, before you buy it.
