Direct X 9.0c advice please

  TIMSMITH 12:23 25 Mar 06

Just ordered a pc from Evesham and asked whether it would have Direcvt X9.0c as my son's games require this. What is Direct X9.0c? I presume it's gaming software. Would it automatically be included with a new pc (Axis A-List) or would one need to download it separately? Unfortunately, the lady at Evesham was unsure (had never heard of Direct X9.0c, in fact).

Any advice appreciated.

Thank you.

It should have it but if not you can download it click here

To see which version you have, Start, Run, type

and click OK.

Whatever game you have that requires DirectX 9c you will probably find it is on the game disk and will probably give you the option to install it. If not as VoG™ says you can easily download it.
