A Dilemma

  Genius1 20:33 30 Oct 06

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am after a new desktop PC to replace my 2 year old Philips Freeline LS2000, with which I have been very unhappy - it is incredibly noisy, overheats and has already suffered one hard drive failure. Performance is noticably dropping when playing games.

I have narrowed my choice down to these:

Mesh Elite E6600 (£950)
HP Pavilion m7580 (£980)
HP Pavilion m7590 (£1330)

I use my PC for high-end gaming as well as everyday office and Internet tasks.

I would be very grateful for your comments about my choices, your suggestions and recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

You get a lot of Bang for your Buck, as they say.

However, when you are putting together that newest combinations of freshly designed equipment there are sometimes incompatibilities.

I don't know whether Mesh has a higher %age of faults, than other manufacturers, on not.

However, those that fall through the Assistance Net are extremely vocal.

HP are rarely mentioned here except as fairly placid workhorses.
